1. Innovativity and transfer of good practices
The Board of Directors is constantly seeking out innovative and creative approaches, which ensure a differentiator on the market and a way to achieve the set goals.
Apart from creativity one of the values of the club is also to follow the example of the best business angels clubs in the world and thus transfer knowledge, experience and examples of good practice onto this area.

2. Members’ and entrepreneurs’ integrity
If a company upon a proprietorial investment is to operate successfully, a good relationship between the entrepreneur and investor is of great importance. A good relationship can only be established if both sides have integrity. As such the club brings together members with high personal integrity and integrity is also a condition for entrepreneurs the club cooperates with.
Consequentially this leads also to the importance of ethic behavior in all situations by everyone involved in the club’s operation as well as the importance of investing only in those companies whose operations are acceptable from the ethical point of view. Social realization is also important to the club.

3. Added value
The essence of a business angels’ investment lies not only in the financial capital, but also in knowledge, experience and social capital. Therefore the added value of the entrance of a business angel into a company is extremely high and exceeds the financial investment.
The Slovenian Business Angels Club therefore brings together only members who ensure this high added value but also cooperates only with those entrepreneurs, who acknowledge it.

4. Process
In order for the club to operate undisturbed we have carefully shaped an investment process, which defines the progression of projects and based on which we select. The aim of this process is to standardize the investment criteria and documentation, as well as the standards required for a presentation in front of the investors.
The Board of Directors of the Slovenian Business Angels Club always maintains the formed process.

5. Openness and practical adjustment
The club links up with other organizations working on the knowledge market, both domestic and foreign. The operation of the club is completely open and we constantly seek out cooperation opportunities, which would have synergistic effects. Furthermore, the aim of operation of the club is to get visible results in as short time as possible.

6. Sophisticated money refinement and investment syndication
The aim of investment is not only to assist entrepreneurs, but also to refine money in a sophisticated manner, in which the investor holds actual power to influence the investment. The philosophy behind such investment is high risk and thus high potential profits.
We shall also encourage syndicated investments, where all business angels join their forces and the risks get divided. To encourage syndicated investment is one of the primary operations of the club in the investment process as well.
