TRAINING AND CONSULTING

The Slovenian Business Angels Club trains on proprietorial financing and investments by the business angels. Considering most entrepreneurs at the time of enquiry do not have a completed investment documentation, we also hold special modular trainings, by the means of which we prepare the entrepreneur for proprietorial investment and to elaborate the appropriate documentation.

"START-UP ACADEMY" - Preparation of entrepreneurs for proprietorial financing

The Slovenian Business Angels Club holds a special modular 7-week training. The aim of this training is to create:

The whole part of the business plan as regards its content
Financial projections for 3-5 years or until the foreseen exit
A summary of the business plan
An appropriate presentation of the business plan
A financial model for a proprietorial investment, which clearly defines the means needed by the entrepreneurs in order to realize their business project based on financial projections, the planned means expenditure and expected results, as well as potential exit strategies and proprietorial share in accordance with the investment size and the current company’s value
With the training we also aim to prepare the entrepreneur for a presentation in front of the investors

Upon completing the training the entrepreneur enters into the investment process. Should the entrepreneur already have adequate documentation ready and the Board of Directors judge that no training is necessary, the entrepreneur may enter directly into the investment process.

PROGRAMME

The seven training modules encompass the following content:

Module Number 1: Proprietorial financing, the description of an idea and company
Module Number 2: Market analysis
Module Number 3: Marketing and sales plan
Module Number 4: Production, development, leading group, deadline plan, turning points, risks
Module Number 5: Financial budget, financial projections, indicators and exit strategies
Module Number 6: Summary, presentation and financial model
Module Number 7: Final lecture, final documentation delivery, beginning of work with the commission
